Barry sits between Monifieth and Carnoustie, and is a ten-minute site drive for us. The village is a mix of traditional stone cottages around the original High Street and modern bungalows and family houses on the newer developments south of the rail line.
The village properties we have worked have mostly been kitchen and bathroom refits with some full renovation. Barry’s older stone cottages often have low ceilings and small rooms, which means joinery and lighting design has to do a lot of work to open up usable space without losing character.
