Wormit is a small village in north Fife, right on the south bank of the Tay and directly below the bridge. Our route in from Monifieth is a fifteen-minute drive across the bridge. The village is mostly traditional stone and modern infill, with significant post-war bungalow stock on the elevated ground.
Wormit bungalows often have loft spaces with real conversion potential — we have done several dormer and hip-to-gable loft conversions in the village that added a full principal suite without extending the ground footprint.
The village also has a community of long-term homeowners who have commissioned work from us on successive properties. Several of our Wormit clients are on their second or third project with Homes by Dominique.
